Manual QA

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the QA team to understand software requirements and develop effective manual testing strategies.
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test plans for functional, regression, and usability testing.
Create and maintain a comprehensive manual test suite to ensure thorough coverage of all features and functionalities.
Identify, document, and report defects and inconsistencies in software functionality, user interface, and performance.
Work closely with the QA and Automation Lead to integrate manual testing activities into the overall testing process.
Participate in test review meetings and provide insightful feedback to improve testing quality and efficiency.
Assist in the maintenance of test documentation and ensure adherence to organizational QA processes and standards.
Coordinate with the development team to understand changes and updates in software applications.
Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in manual testing and quality assurance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in the QA department by suggesting enhancements to testing processes and tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proven experience in creating and maintaining manual test suites.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Ability to identify, analyze, and document defects and inconsistencies.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
Basic knowledge of any programming language is a plus.
