Manual QA
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the QA team to understand software requirements and develop effective manual testing strategies.
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test plans for functional, regression, and usability testing.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive manual test suite to ensure thorough coverage of all features and functionalities.
- Identify, document, and report defects and inconsistencies in software functionality, user interface, and performance.
- Work closely with the QA and Automation Lead to integrate manual testing activities into the overall testing process.
- Participate in test review meetings and provide insightful feedback to improve testing quality and efficiency.
- Assist in the maintenance of test documentation and ensure adherence to organizational QA processes and standards.
- Coordinate with the development team to understand changes and updates in software applications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in manual testing and quality assurance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in the QA department by suggesting enhancements to testing processes and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proven experience in creating and maintaining manual test suites.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and document defects and inconsistencies.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Basic knowledge of any programming language is a plus.
