Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)**

About the Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at DPDzero, you’ll be the bridge between our operations teams and our technology. You’ll work hands-on with internal teams to deeply understand their challenges, craft tailored solutions, and ensure seamless deployment of our platform. This role is part engineer, part consultant, and part project manager — ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys solving real-world problems with cutting-edge technology.

What You’ll Do

Operations Team Engagement: Collaborate closely with operations teams to understand their workflows, requirements, and pain points, translating them into actionable technical solutions.
Solution Implementation: Configure, customize, and deploy software solutions — often involving data engineering, AI/LLM integrations, and complex system integrations.
Problem Solving: Tackle technical challenges head-on, designing creative solutions to meet unique operational needs.
Technical Consulting: Advise operations teams on best practices, solution architecture, and optimal use of the DPDzero platform.
Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the operations team, capturing feedback and insights to inform product roadmaps and future enhancements.
Project Management: Oversee delivery timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure projects stay on track and deliver measurable value.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (engineering, product, sales) and external stakeholders (partners) to drive success.

What We’re Looking For

Strong technical foundation (experience with Python, Golang, or similar languages; knowledge of APIs, cloud infrastructure, or data systems).
Proven ability to deploy and integrate software solutions in real-world customer environments, with at least 3 years of experience in integration engineering.
Comfort working in customer-facing roles — able to translate technical complexity into clear, actionable insights.
Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to dive deep into technical issues.
Experience with AI/LLM technologies, data engineering pipelines, or enterprise integrations is a big plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work across teams and with diverse stakeholders.
Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
